Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and EasyTeX (“EasyTeX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply when you access easytex.cc or use our resume builder, document tools, job-search features, interview tools, public sharing features, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. The Service is not directed to children.

Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law says otherwise. You may not transfer or sell your account.

EasyTeX provides tools for drafting, formatting, reviewing, compiling, exporting, and sharing professional documents, along with related career and job-search features. Some features may be experimental, marked as beta, or supplied through third-party providers.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not promise that every feature, template, integration, or file format will always remain available.

You retain ownership of the resumes, job descriptions, profile information, prompts, files, and other material you submit (“User Content”). You give EasyTeX a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, process, transmit, and display User Content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service, follow your instructions, and comply with law.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your User Content and for having the rights needed to submit it. Do not upload government identification numbers, financial credentials, health records, confidential employer information, or other sensitive material that is not necessary for your document.

Some features use automated systems or third-party AI providers to parse files, suggest wording, analyze resumes, generate questions, or create related content. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your circumstances.

You must review outputs before using them. Do not treat an ATS score, job-match result, generated answer, or writing suggestion as professional, legal, recruiting, or employment advice. EasyTeX does not use these tools to make hiring decisions about you.

If you create a public resume link, anyone with the link may be able to view the content you chose to publish. Public-link analytics may show you information about views, such as approximate location, device type, referrer, and viewing duration.

You are responsible for deciding what to publish and for disabling a link when it should no longer be available. Avoid publishing private contact details or information about another person without permission.

You may not use the Service to:

• break the law, infringe rights, deceive others, impersonate someone, or submit materially false application information;
• upload malware, probe for vulnerabilities, bypass access controls, or access another user’s account or content;
• overload, scrape, or automate access to the Service in a way that disrupts it or exceeds documented interfaces;
• use generated content to facilitate discrimination, fraud, harassment, or other harmful conduct; or
• remove notices, misuse EasyTeX branding, or resell the Service without written permission.

The Service, branding, interface, and EasyTeX-created templates and materials are owned by EasyTeX or its licensors. Open-source software remains subject to its applicable license. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service to you.

If you send feedback or feature ideas, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, but you do not have to disclose confidential information.

The Service relies on providers for hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, communications, advertising, document compilation, and AI processing. It may also link to job listings or other third-party sites. Their products and content are governed by their own terms and privacy notices.

EasyTeX is not responsible for third-party availability, hiring decisions, job-posting accuracy, or changes made by an external service.

The core Service is currently offered without a listed subscription fee. If we introduce a paid feature, we will show the price, billing interval, renewal terms, and any applicable refund or cancellation terms before you purchase it.

Nothing in these Terms authorizes a charge that was not disclosed to you.

EasyTeX can help you create structured documents, but it cannot guarantee parsing by every applicant tracking system, an interview, a job offer, a response from an employer, or any particular score or ranking.

Employers configure and use recruiting systems differently. Follow the employer’s instructions, verify exported files, and make your own decisions about every application.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete individual resumes through available account controls. Contact us to request account deletion.

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Service, address unlawful conduct, enforce these Terms, or respond to legal requirements. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” EasyTeX disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the extent permitted by law, EasyTeX and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, goodwill, or data arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid EasyTeX for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so these provisions apply only to the extent legally permitted. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Applicable law governs these Terms without overriding mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction. Disputes must be brought before a court or tribunal that has lawful jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver.

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
